Introduction to Watercolor

Students will learn to utilize water and the brush to create incredible visual masterpieces.  Watercolor is a peaceful and amicable medium that is an excellent for both new and experienced creators   Its diverse methods of color mixing and application enhance the surface of the paper into intricate and vibrant moving imagery.  Art Supply List Available at Art Stores: Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster, Lyon Art Supplies in Long Beach, and at any Michael's store: I. Watercolor or Bristol paper: 11"x14", or 12"x16", or 16"x20".  II. Brushes: Synthetic or Bristle small watercolor Brushes Flat Size: 10, 12, 20 Round Size: 2, 6, 10.  III. Tubes: Titanium White, Cadmium medium yellow, Magenta (medium), Cyan blue, emerald green, and any black.  Optional colors: Cadmium medium red, Cobalt or Ultramarine blue and Phtalo green
