This 8-hour seminar prepares entrepreneurs and hobbyists for the FAA Remote Pilot Test (FAA Part 107) to become a commercial drone pilot as a money-making endeavor. Aerial photography, roofing checks, real estate video, disaster relief, search and rescue, and wedding photography are just a small fraction of the jobs keeping commercial drone pilots in high demand.
This course is classroom instruction only. This class is a ground class, and you are not required to own a drone nor will it require training or demonstration of flight-skills. If you think you can just buy a study guide and pass the exam, think again. The weak points of most (if not all) of the study guides are aviation weather and map reading, and those are the same points that the FAA exams tend to stress. You will leave the class with an excellent understanding of the subject matter.
About the FAA Remote Pilot Exam: You must be at least 16 years old and have a valid government-issued picture ID. The instructor will discuss test center locations and fees and how to go about taking the exam.
